Hey Mick just wanted to send you a quick message to say thanks a million for the use of the apartment. It was absolutely superb. Michel couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment was brilliant and had absolutely everything. We had friends and their 2 boys over for dinner one of the nights and after dinner we made full use of the board games. We also took advantage of Francis sports and got the 20% discount which saved us loads. The weather and the skiing was amazing and all going well next year we will return. Best wishes to you and Ann and thanks again for the apartment.

A great apartment almost on top of the ski lift (we were there in summer) which comfortably accommodates six people and has all the facilities needed for a great holiday. Close to the town with a small extended hours supermarket close by and a large one just a bit further on. Just a 15min walk uphill to the picturesque Old Town. Pretty views from the balcony and windows. There is even a dishwasher!!! Friendly and communicative hosts. Would happily use again- highly recommended.

We had a fabulous week skiing in Briancon and Serre Chevalier. The apartment was ideally positioned very close to the Prorel lift. it could not have been in a better place; even the ski bus stopped right outside when chose to take it having skied to another village. The apartment had all the facilities we needed for a great week.

We are a family of six and have been back to the apartment 4 times. It is a great location right next to the main cable car. Snow permitting ( and we have always had great snow in Serre Chevalier) you can ski all the way back down. For us with four children it's great that you can catch the Eurostar to Paris and connect with the overnight sleeper that gets you into Briancon by 8:30 am. Michael, who looks after the apartment for the owners, is really welcoming and helpful. There is a great variety of skiing on and off piste and we've always had great snow when we have been at Christmas and February half term. The facilities and local supermarkets allow us to self cater - which means we can afford to go skiing more often.
It seems to me that if you want really great skiing with a family and at a budget this place is great. The prices at the cafes we use on the mountain are relatively cheap as far as such things go - which means it is affordable to stay on the mountain all day without having to pack sandwiches. It isn't a big or luxurious apartment but it is clean, comfortable and functional and more than adequate for two adults and four boys. I thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The apartment exceeded our expectations, it was larger than expected, clean, very well equipped. Obvious that the owners use it themselves.
Location was brilliant for skiing being just above the ski shop, and next to the lifts & ski school. Skiing was excellent even so early in the season.
Mick was very easy to contact and went out of his way regarding recommendations.
Briancon is a proper town, rather than just a skiing resort, so there's lots for non-skiers to do. People are very friendly & helpful.
We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked for 2018!

This apartment is excellent value for money. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need in the apartment.
It is very near to the slopes and the chairlift is 'next door'. As it was early in the season there wasn't enough snow to ski to the 'door' but it would be possible if the conditions were right.
There are restaurants within walking distance and the town still retains a friendly feel.

The flat was cosy and the shared living space was ample, serving well for a group. The balcony was lovely too and has a great view. As close to the Prorel lift as you can get! This makes the slopes super accessible, but also can walk easily over to the Old Town. Mick and Anne were easy to contact and pleasant, and the apartment managers (Michel and Denise) were very friendly and helpful. Also ski shop and passes available on lower floors. Would highly recommend this property based on how close it is to the ski lift, but also the owners and flat were great.

Brilliant week in a great apartment *****5 of 5
My friends and I rented this apartment for a week's ski holiday in Briancon - the biggest town in the Serre Chevalier ski area.
The apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable, well equpped and spacious compared with the other French apartments we have used. The owners (Mick & Anne) went out of the way to make sure we had all the information we could want in terms of directions to the apartment and tips on local bars and restaurants and other amenities. Their local managers (Denise and Michel) were also very friendly & helpful, and the apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived.
I have to say that this must be one of the best located apartments for a ski holiday in Serre Chevalier. You actually look down from the apartment on the main Prurel gondola station and this lift takes you straight into the main parts of the extensive Serre Chevalier ski area which is suitable for all abilities of skier.
There are great shops, restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk and there are 2 ski rental shops of the ground floor of the same building, so everything is really handy. It is also worth spending at least one evening further up the hill in the mediaeval old town which is amazingly well preserved and only about 15-20 mins walk.

An excellent apartment right next to the lift station in Briancon. Booking was easy with Mick and he liased with michel his local contAct. The apartment itself was spotless with adequate space and facilities to serve up meals in house. It would be shame to not meet with the locals they are the most friendly helpful French people of any ski resort I've bee to. The skiing itself a hidden gem up there with the French mega resorts at a bargain price. Been skiing 25 years and not easily pleased. 5 star!

Great location, near to the Porel ski lift. The flat is a few floors about the ski hire shops and close to a number of bars and restaurants. The supermarkets were only a short walk. We walked each morning to the Boulangerie for fresh bread and croissants. Private parking is ideal and the fact that bedding and cleaning was included helped both with packing and work at the end of the holiday. Michel & Denise on site spoke very good english and were a great deal of help with local information. The flat was well equipped avoiding the standard 6 of everything and had ample pots and pans. Contacting the owner was easy and payment was no issue.
