The apartment is on the sunny south facing 5th floor of the Relais de la Guisane.
The front door giving access to the lift is number 7 Avenue Rene Froger (next to Riquet Sport).
If driving follow road signs to the 'Prorel lift' and you will find the apartment block.
There are two large undergound car parks (Silo du Prorel and L'Aigle Bleu) within 100 meters of the apartment with 400 spaces and another (Val Chancel) with 250 spaces is 200m from the apartment. The cost for all is 27 Euro's for a weekly ticket. The height restriction on all these car parks is 1.90 meters.
Nearest Airports - Turin (75 miles), Chambery (104 miles) and Grenoble (149 miles). Because Serre Chevalier is in the southern Alps, in the winter it is also worth considering airports such as Nice, Marseille, Nimes and Milan as they are generally not considered to be 'ski airports' the prices are often lower.
Turin is the airport I would recommend as the best option. It is nearest, there is a regular bus option Saturday and Sunday and all hire cars in the winter are required to have winter tyres, so no extra charges for these. From the UK Easyjet, Jet2, Ryanair, Blueair and British Airways all fly to Turin in the winter.
The RESALP Linkbus Torino (Turin) airport to Serre Chevalier bus runs both Saturday + Sunday and stops 30 meters from our apartment (bus stop Briancon Prorel). It costs 29 Euros each way - you need to pre book tickets via the internet if planning to transfer using this service. It is essentially door to door and you won't need a car whilst in Briancon as all the skiing, shops, bars and amenities are close to the apartment.

If driving from Calais the motorway via the Frejus Tunnel into Italy is slightly further but mostly faster than the D1091 via Grenoble. It is certainly the best option if snow is forecast. There is a toll to pay - a return ticket is much cheaper than paying for two single crossings.
